Ford Military Recognition Program

Thank You for Your Service

Ford offers eligible military members, retirees, veterans, spouses, surviving spouses, and household members an exclusive cash reward toward the purchase or lease of an eligible new Ford vehicle.

A Straightforward Benefit for the Military Community

Service asks a lot from the people who wear the uniform and the families standing beside them. Ford’s Military Recognition Program is one way to make the next vehicle a little easier. Eligible customers can use the current reward toward a qualifying new Ford for sale or for lease at Desoto Ford in Arcadia.

The reward amount may vary by market, and vehicle eligibility can change. Enter the ZIP code where the vehicle will be registered on Ford’s official program site to see the current offer. From there, ID.me will guide you through verification and Ford will issue a certificate for an approved applicant.

AD

Active-Duty Personnel

Eligible service members include active personnel in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force, along with National Guard members, reservists serving on active duty, and members of the Delayed Entry or Enlistment Program.

RET

Military Retirees

Regular, reserve, early, and medical retirees may qualify under Ford’s current program. Verification documents must establish the applicant’s eligible retired status.

VET

Veterans

Veterans within 24 months of separation may qualify. Ford also notes that a special regional incentive may cover veterans outside that window, so entering your registration ZIP code is worth the minute.

FAM

Families and Households

Spouses, surviving spouses, and other U.S. resident household members may be eligible to register for the offer, subject to Ford’s address, documentation, and program requirements.

Eligibility descriptions summarize Ford’s current program. Ford and ID.me make the final eligibility determination.

How to Get Your Ford Military Certificate

Visit Ford’s official Military Recognition site and enter the ZIP code where the vehicle will be registered. You’ll see the reward currently available in that market.

2. Confirm Eligibility

Continue to ID.me and follow the prompts to verify your identity and military affiliation. The process may require supporting military documentation.

After approval, watch for an email containing your unique certificate ID. Bring a copy to Desoto Ford when you’re ready to purchase or lease an eligible new vehicle.

Documents You May Need

The exact document depends on your military status. ID.me may request one of the following during verification:

Household members and surviving spouses may be asked to upload qualifying military documentation connected to the service member. Follow the live instructions on Ford’s verification page for the documents accepted in your situation.

Military Recognition Program Questions

How much is the Ford Military reward?

The amount may vary by market. Enter the ZIP code where the vehicle will be registered on Ford’s official Military Recognition page to see the current offer available to you.

Which branches are included?

Ford’s current program includes eligible personnel from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force. National Guard members and reservists serving on active duty may also qualify.

Do all veterans qualify?

Veterans within 24 months of separation may qualify under the standard program. Ford states that some veterans may qualify for a special regional incentive regardless of separation date. Enter your ZIP code and complete Ford’s verification process for a definitive answer.

Can a spouse or household member use the offer?

Yes. Ford’s current program says spouses, surviving spouses, and other household members who are U.S. residents may register for the offer. Verification, household, documentation, and transaction requirements apply.

Do inactive reservists qualify?

Reserve status matters. Ford’s current rules generally require reservists to be serving on active-duty orders unless they independently qualify as a veteran or military retiree. ID.me will determine eligibility from the applicant’s current status and documentation.

Can the reward be used on a pre-owned Ford?

The Military Exclusive Cash Reward applies to the purchase or lease of an eligible new Ford or Lincoln vehicle. It does not apply to ordinary pre-owned inventory.

Can the military reward be combined with another Ford incentive?

Compatibility depends on the current programs and the vehicle selected. Desoto Ford can check all available offers for the buyer, model, ZIP code, and transaction date.

What if I’m stationed outside the United States?

Ford directs military members stationed overseas to the Ford U.S. Military Car Buying Program through Military AutoSource. That program has its own pricing, eligibility, and purchase process.

How many vehicles can I use the program for?

Ford’s current FAQ states that the reward may be applied to a maximum of five eligible new vehicle purchases or leases per calendar year. Review the official terms for complete details.
